Rádio Inconfidência is based in SE Brazil broadcasting on AM, FM and Shortwave. The 15190khz signal is 5KW at 122 degrees azimuth which is a SE beam direction.

It is heard up here in west central Alaska more often than you'd think and at times, way better than you'd imagine.

And being a nerd, I love hearing legal id's or as they're called in Brazil, prefixo/indicativo de frequencia and Radio Inconfidencia runs them, mentioning their calls, frequencies and city of license.

Here's audio of a short aircheck that includes the station ID recorded over the air here in alaska on 1190, IDing 15190/100.9/880

For you domestic DXers with white hair (like me) in the northeast, here's one I found, a nice surprise I logged *once* when downstate PA's WWSM and its traditional c&w was on the air and nulled silent.
WRNJ Hackettstown NJ was a fading in-and-out but alone on the frequency around SSS yesterday, 9-14 -- very much daylight.
Playing Oldies.
They are in the process , since May, of going down to 5 watts omni at night; may have done so already. But they remain 2000 watts omni in daylight hours. Evidently they're jettisoning some of their 4 nighttime towers and banking on the AM plus three decent-sized translators to carry them through. It wasn't too long ago that they showed up as a #10 in the ALLENTOWN book that way.
So there's a ripe, omni signal playing Oldies to explore -- music -- a rarity for a US AM station. In voicers and liners, they drop the 'W', by the way, IDing as 'R-N-J'.
Bon chance!

They are also recently on Translators around the area. 104.7 105.7 and 92.7 heard Around Parts of Hunterdon Warren Somerset and Morris Counties.

I Recently heard / discovered them on their 104.7 Signal from Warren NJ - Not far from the WNJB-TV Tower - Which is Home of another Great Area Station's Translator - WDVR on 95.9 (W240CY - and their 5 watts signal which barely reaches south past Route 22 / when WRAT takes over).

990 AM - instead of the usual CBW, a few nights ago I heard a strong Christian station in Spanish that I’d never heard before. Anyone have any idea what it might be? I know there are some Spanish Christian stations on 990 in Texas.

Most likely that’s KFCD from Farmersville, near Dallas. I haven’t checked lately but they were running a Christian format in Spanish.

I just realized that WTAR from Norfolk, Virginia is listenable in the daytime on the Cape May County New Jersey SDR.

And the receiver is located well inland, north of the Cape May peninsula.

For me, DXing is like visiting a distant location in a sense and it also makes me think of interesting things, for example in this case how you can hear an AM station in the daytime in New Jersey from a place that has palms, Spanish Moss, and Live Oak trees.

Very good signal tonight (75dbuv) from ZYE-522, Rádio Inconfidência 15190khz Belo Horizonte (Beautiful Horizon), Mina Gerais, Brazil.

They’re in southeast Brazil, using 5kw beamed at 122 degrees azimuth. SINPO is almost all 5s, save for NHK World Radio on 15195 from Japan, causing the occasional “womp womp” Charlie Brown like sound on 15190 from NHK on 15195.

0435UTC Sept 21 in west central Alaska with big loop antenna, DxEngineering preamp, EmTech ZM2 antenna tuner & TEF6686 chipped DP-666 Radio.

Hearing snippets of XEBS 1410 Mexico City. Heard the tail end of a Sabrosita liner, KMYC Marysville Ca took over but then some Spanish music from XEBS popped up. I think they keep trading places. 1005pm AK Sept 20

1202am AK/302am central time Sun Sep 21, a pretty clear, obvious “you’re listening to the West Texas Power house, KCKM Monahans” with a KCKM jingle, music before and after the Id, no news or weather

My Favorite Station out there I found was
"KPTX - West Texas Best" ... On 98.3 FM."
I remember finding while driving thru that area just a few years ago. Even though the tower is off I-20, It Also Does Well on I-10 Over the empty terrain, From right after where I-20 Splits near Balmorhea, and makes it from there, all the way to Fort Stockton, over 50 miles on I-10, in what is supposedly a fringe area.

It was one of the only stations on the dial there. Not bad for a C3 station from a short tower with 9500 watts. It Also Reaches Pecos and Monahans as well... But not Quite to Midland and Odessa ... With Such an almost empty FM Dial in West TX, I'm surprised they don't upgrade, I can stream them online via Tunein.
