She was legendary, the first Black TV reporter on the West Coast and a mainstay of local journalism. I remember her best for hosting KQED's This Week in Northern California. She started out at KSAN, then a small AM station in the Bay Area, and worked her way up. I can't overstate what an impact she had on Bay Area journalism.
