Lance runs this site, so when he says something it's a good idea to listen to him.I think your post and title is fine the way it is. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!
The guy who owns the site ought to have the final say on that.I think your post and title is fine the way it is. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!
I wonder how come they keep canning people and then post openings. You'd think they'd give them an option to transfer if people wanted to move.
Yes, but you always hear about the Audacy [and other radio companies] massive RIF firings. Some of them I'm pretty sure are "They're making a lot of money, get rid of them and hire someone cheaper."Not all openings are caused by firings. People retire, quit, get better jobs, lots of reasons.
Most companies allow transfers, but still have to post the job in order to see all qualified applicants.

Are you kidding? I'm well into retirement age by now. I'm sure there'd be lots of stress, etc. which my cardiologist would like me to avoid. Told him if he wants me to avoid stress, quit sending me a bill.If that's the only reason, the employee can sue. Lots of them do.
In this case, they're looking for a part-timer. Probably because the last one is now full time.
