LPFM Transmitter Options

Does anyone have experience with the Ecreso AIO 300W (Perform) or Aqua Cobalt C300? I'm helping a local LPFM replace their transmitter but I only work with high-power xtmrs. Looking at specs alone, the Ecreso has a 5-band processor while the Cobalt only offers 4-bands, but the Cobalt has a redundant PSU and it's about $900 cheaper. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

No experience personally, but I maintain a translator that's co-located with a station using an older Eresco 300-watt. It's a very clean site (pretty much no dust - a luxury for a transmitter site) but AFAIK that thing has run for upwards of 10 years with zero downtime.

Both Ecreso and Aqua have reputations for building solid, reliable transmitters.
I've had experience with the Ecreso E1000 and Aqua Cobalt C50....
Both are made to last....and perform flawlessly!
You won't be sorry if you choose either the AIO 300 or C300.....
Good Luck!

Ya we got a Cobalt C300. Pleased so far. Aqua email support is fast and thorough.

One thing though. The tx is controllable by a joystick on the front as well as web UI. My advice is: Don't try to operate this transmitter with the joystick. It's very sensitive and can easily be set off-frequency or other erroneous settings you do not intend. Maybe we were just fat-fingered. But instead, when you turn the transmitter on (on the bench) just use the joystick to set the DHCP on (it ships off). That way you will put it on your LAN, it will get its IP from your network and you can operate it from a web browser.
