Still no official word on Doctor Odyssey. Wonder if they are still haggling over reduced rights fees, possibly for a shortened mid-season premiere?
I’m still waiting as well. With all these upfront announcements already made, one has to wonder why these remaining bubble shows are stuck in limbo at this point.

So eight seasons in, the main character is still “The Rookie”?🤔

Never knew it was so tough to work your way up the career ladder in law enforcement, though Olivia Benson finally made Captain.🤣

If you knew the series as well as those of us who watch it regularly, you would know that after John Nolan finished his rookie training, he opted to become a training officer himself, so the series always has a rookie or two in the regular cast.

But Sgt. Wade Grey did get promoted to Lieutenant in the first episode of season 7, and Lucy Chen (who was one of the original rookies in season 1 passed the Sergeant's exam in the next-to-last episode of the season and -- because she was top of the list -- was immediately offered a vacant position at her station.

THANK YOU. 👏

One of my guilty pleasures is The Rookie and now I know when to expect it. You would think the networks would understand by now that not telling loyal fans of returning series when the mid-season premiere date is doesn't win them friends. (And increases the chance that we will DVR it and skip the commercials.)

I know some shows in the past didn't have good ratings because the networks didn't advertise it enough when they were going to be on.

I like that American Idol is starting early in late Jan than March where it seems that cram a lot to get it done in late May in my opinion.
