October numbers are here

The loss leaders of 97.1, 103.7 and KPRC are at the bottom. Any changes for them?
No. The K-Love Inc. outlets aren’t going anywhere, unless a Missouri City stick falls into their lap.

KPRC has been an irrelevance for years. Basically exists as an advertiser throw-in and clearing national spots.

Maybe Estereo Latino? I personally only listen to La Ley in the Mornings to listen to Raul Brindis. After his show is of the air I flip it to 93.3.
Estereo Latino only had a week in the latest survey and was a no show. It will improve as people discover the format.

Que Buena and La Ley dropped, but the other Spanish language stations were either flat or had just a slight wobble. Vida Unida was the only one showing significant improvement.
And also La Mejor, yes it’s a small translator but the few who listen make a little difference.
Supposedly La Mejor and Power are planning to PPM encode so we might get an idea of how they are doing in the near future.

The new car smell seems to have worn off (already PPM encoded) Sol Radio which has been trending down.

KOVE jumps back up...everything else was expected, all the regionals just beating themselves for the same piece of regional mex pie. kama is awful, theres just nothing going on with that station and format, lets just go ahead and put another regional mex on it and really split the ratings into sub 1, hell i would even put tejano there and then it will really show what ratings it could get, sub 1 i beleive, then flip again, i think San Antonios The Beat needs to simulcast in Houston also and get in before MediaCo does

I guess I'll give an opinion on the English-speaking stations, seeing as how the Spanish-speaking facilities are, already, pretty well covered.
Sunny shining brighter as the days grow shorter.
Ho, ho, ho, 🐸. You already know the 10+ share is on the way.
93Q kicking The Bull.
Has been doing so, more often than not.
KRBE is doing something right.
With no competition for the CHR audience. Seems more a case of Houstonians settling for what they have. Comparing KRBE to KHKS is much akin to apples and oranges. God help KRBE if, ever, iHeart launches "Kiss-FM" on something more than a pesky translator.
Louder Buzz.
Again, no competitor. The Eagle? Hardly.
Someone’s breaking La Ley.
Team effort, I'd surmise. Proof positive that there are too many irons being chucked into same fire. The shiny new gleam is starting to wear off of 92.1. Now, we'll see just how well it holds on against its long-established counterparts. La Mera Mera started off fairly strong when Radio One debuted it, too. While the signal may be better in Houston now, is it really that much better than when it last had a Regional Mexican format attempted on it?
Have we seen Vida Unida in the twos before?
Did Rice ever see a 2 share on 91.7, back in the day? Isn't a 2 share close to an all-time high for the former k-tru?
No show for Estereo Latino, but only had a single week in this survey.
More downward trending for The Law, I suspect.
Que Malo 102.9.
Si. Es buena para nada, ahora, Señor Rana.

A 2.1 (reached in October 2024) is the largest topline share ever recorded on the frequency.
KTRU never registered in either the diary or PPM era
KUHA's max was a 1.3; KXNG's max was also a 1.3.

KOVE jumps back up...everything else was expected, all the regionals just beating themselves for the same piece of regional mex pie.
Saturation point for RM, despite current demographic trends?
kama is awful, theres just nothing going on with that station and format
Where have the listeners gone? You would think Mega would have a corresponding increase. Note that KAMA has restored its former signal coverage.
lets just go ahead and put another regional mex on it and really split the ratings into sub 1, hell i would even put tejano there and then it will really show what ratings it could get, sub 1 i beleive, then flip again
You forgot the “/s”.
i think San Antonios The Beat needs to simulcast in Houston
KQBT 93.7 The Beat says hello.
also and get in before MediaCo does
Or 97.5.
