According to Insideradio, she is retiring from radio after a 46 year career. I would estimate her age around 65. So, it's probably just her time to stop working and enjoy life.

We aired The Big Time back when I was working in the format in mid-late 2000s. I always thought it was the best of the syndicated country night shows.
