KRLA morning answer

I doubt we will ever find out. I was about to post the same thing. All I know is last week he was off n Jen said he will be back Monday and come Monday yesterday they rebranded the show as the morning answer with Jennifer horn. He has a strong personality I bet he and mgmt batted heads or something like that. We still don't know why Brian Whitman was let go. Grant was his successor

I read Grant is now focusing on his podcast on Real America's Voice. I recall months ago he mentioned something about refocusing on this podcast. Now recently he did a short, almost extra spot on a movie. I think Grant is just refocused on different projects besides his co-hosting for the morning drive show with Jen. Grant seems to have lots of irons in the fire so to speak. But he did say one of the most memorable aspects of the morning show was working with his cohost Jennifer Horn.

I do remember Jen's past cohost Brian Whitman. Brian was one of these hosts that would come and go from different shows and cohosts on various stations. I personally didn't mind his work, but looking back, I think he might have not been a super contributor some of the time, and he didn't have the intellectual weight or research to be able to bring newer material to the ever changing topics. Nice and funny guy, but that's my take on Brian.

I think Brian was brought in part comedy part a different point of view. He and Ben Shapiro started at the same time when 870 got rid of Glenn Beck in the morning and launched a live and local show in the mornings with first Heidi Harris then they added Brian Whitman and Ben Shapiro a bit later all in 2012.

The live and local part lives on with an ever revolving door except Jennifer has been constant since 2016. And there former co host that also worked on the morning answer Elisha kraus can be heard occasionally working on Adam Carolla podcast.

Good question but that goes for all talk radio and cable news. Neither of them have the youngest demographic. 68-71 for the average cable news viewer while talk radio average age is 56.

According to ratings people: NO!
And some of them waste their time complaining about it, rather than finding one of hundreds of online stations that play 60 year old music, all harmonica music, all Rosemary Clooney music, all tenor saxophone music, etc. for them to listen to. It makes about as much sense as someone’s grandparents complaining that stations don’t program only bird calls, because they love bird calls, and all their friends love bird calls, and they all have money so a station should program all bird calls just for them and their friends and the station would rake in the advertising money.

But only if there were enough bird seed and birdhouse and bird cam advertisers out there for the birdbrains.
