The sound quality for KLVH sounds terrible with bad high frequency aliasing in the audio. There must be a sample rate mismatch somewhere in the audio chain. You would think they would have fixed this by now, as it's been this way for months.
Vehicle, pretty much all around Houston from Conroe to Galveston.Out of curiosity, where are you listening from? Approximate/neighborhood, not precise address.
It is very noticeable in our vehicle. It makes it sound like some of the singers, talent have a lisp.Every time I’ve briefly tuned in scanning the dial it sounded fine to me. I’ll try to listen with headphones soon to really tell
Maybe K-Love will fix it when they send an engineer. I don't know if they have one on call, that's a huge national operation and you know how good they are at saving money.
This should be the first question anyone asks when someone complains “something’s wrong at _fill in the call letters_ station”.Has anyone here reported the issue to them directly?
I did fill out their little online form for signal issues, but it doesn't let you specify the specific reason for your inquiry, such as audio issue. This should be the first question anyone asks when someone complains “something’s wrong at _fill in the call letters_ station”.
That’s probably not what you want.I did fill out their little online form for signal issues, but it doesn't let you specify the specific reason for your inquiry, such as audio issue.
Feel free to send it over and I’ll make a call. That’s probably not what you want.
I think I have the direct NOC number. I don’t think it is public, but if you message me I can pass it along.
Since I am not able to hear and describe the problem, it would be better for someone in Houston to report it.
I think you will find that they are quick and eager to fix any technical issues.
AI says KLTW is airing Radio Nueva Vida. Can’t confirm either since all I hear is VISION LATINA 105.3. But KLVH is airing KLOVE.As an average, but frequent K-Love listener, the station has updated the call letters to EXCLUDE the 105.3 Beaumont station, as I hear (not literally because I live off 290, cant pick up kltw), Now it says 97,1 KLVH, Cleveland/Houston, I read here on radio-discussions that K-Love was adding their spanish christian language stream to the KLTW signal. Can anyone confirm that K-Love is airing Radio Nueva Vida? Could K-Love be working on both stations and the sound quality at each station?
Yes 105.3 is Radio Nueva Vida. They moved K-LOVE to an HD2 so it’s still on the 94.7 & 98.1 translators. Can anyone confirm that K-Love is airing Radio Nueva Vida? Could K-Love be working on both stations and the sound quality at each station?
