HD Radio updates only

KHMX HD, once again, will not lock on some radios, and it has a ~one second delay when switching from analog to digital on other radios.

It’s locking for me. I noticed the delay last night.

KLTN is extremely weak currently I thought they were off the air

I tuned in tonight sounds like a bad connection to where they stream the station to the HD signal. They have no one looking at this? Sad.

It was fixed but yeah it kinda sounds like a weak analog signal now
 
Also KLTN came back to normal last night. And I see the TUDN HD2 is back as well
 
KQBT HD2 audio quality is worse than usual.
KKHH HD2 still has a loud buzzing sound in the audio.
KHMX HD and KKBQ HD have a slight delay when switching to the HD1 from analog
 
KHPT HD2 is no longer “the best of the 80’s and more” but is strictly 80’s. Different imaging and it’s not as often. A lot of songs cut out the ending to go to the next song.

Those slight delays are annoying expectantly in a fringe area.

They all have delays. HD is delayed due to its encoding/decoding. FM is delayed by its processor so that it is align to HD.

What you meant to say is it HD/FM is not in alignment. Some station have exporters that auto adjust the delay, some have it done by external device, and some simply manually adjust it. HD drifts so it needs that alignment continously.
