They preempted that for this?

In Raleigh NC, which has a hockey team, "Inside Edition" and the countdown to the Macy's Parade aren't being shown and "Saturday Night Live" is joined in progress, though I guess everything on that was shown before.

They are showing SNL overnight in full. Like 1:35am
(At least that’s what the online tv listings show)

If you live in Detroit, you can’t watch NBC’s Macy’s parade coverage live. Instead, affiliate WDIV shows the local Detroit parade live, then delays the network’s dog show to later in the afternoon, when NBC repeats the Macy’s show. That repeat is carried on WDIV 4.3, the MeTV outlet.

Maybe WNWO-24 Toledo on RF 23? A halfway decent outdoor antenna could probably snag it.

Is the rerun the full show, though?

I made sure the "Everybody Loves Raymond" special Nov. 24 would get recorded (even though I never watched the series). When I looked at when it was on, WBTV Charlotte was not airing it. There is football instead.

WFMY Greensboro is on my cable system and I sometimes get a good signal with an antenna.
Well you’re in luck. It’s being replayed tonight at 9 Eastern/8 Central

Meanwhile, "Jeopardy" will not air at its usual time Friday. I have two options but when I checked "upcoming" it said WFMY would air the episode, but I had checked and saw College Football. Yeah, sure the game will end on time.

The Paw Patrol Christmas special will not be on WFMY. More college football.
"Jeopardy" was lost. The game must have run really long. I knew it was bad when six minutes were left when I started my recording.

I didn't see anything under "upcoming" on either station airing the show in my area. I'll have to watch the dates of the afternoon reruns.

"Paw Patrol" started late but I automatically record whatever comes on at 9.

Delayed as well.

WDIV's frequent preemptions of NBC network programming have become tiresome.

On top of that, WDIV these days even seems to preempt Wheel and Jeopardy rather frequently. Both were preempted for a downtown Christmas tree lighting extravaganza a week or two ago.

Little late to the party but here in Omaha, some programs on KMTV channel 3 were preempted for Thanksgiving programming, mainly 25 Words or Less (which airs 1 episode now due to Scrambled Up) at 3:00pm, which (on Friday and maybe Thursday, I can’t remember) was pushed to 10:00am to make room for sports programming. I can’t remember what was at 10:30am, but WOWT didn’t give a crap about their syndicated programming and KETV aired nothing Thanksgiving-related except Mary Poppins in the evening so.. there you are.

I have a deeper feeling that WoF will be bumped to overnight on WBZ on Friday as sister channel WSBK is airing college football and the main WBZ channel is airing a holiday special at the 7pm hour. Jeopardy will be airing at its regular time on Friday on WBZ.

In happier news, there will be no PAA airing this week.

TV listings show 1:37am on WBZ

Last night some tournament bumped "Celebrity Family Feud" on WSOC-TV in Charlotte. I had made sure I was going to record it once I saw it advertised, and it's a good thing I did since I noticed it wasn't listed. I recorded it off an antenna that seemed to be giving me satisfactory results. That station almost never pre-empts ABC programming but it did so during the Kimmel controversy.

Because of WSOC-TV being notorious for pre-empting, I actually recorded all my ABC programs from the other station the entire summer of 2009 until my first experience with interference.
