Encouragement Media Group expanding

I think Fuzión would be a good option for KFNC in Houston, should Gow Media put the station on the market for whatever they can get. It’s a signal that would do better as a non-comm.

I agree with you that 97.5 as a "Houston" station is best suited for spanish-language programming. That's the part of the market the signal is most competitive.

With Vida Unida already present in the market, I doubt Fuzion will be headed to Houston any time soon.

Now looky here, 🐸. I'll make you a deal. If Troy purchases KFNC, I'll eat my own hat, video it, and send it you as proof.

I considered Vida Unida, but with large markets having three or four English language CCMs I could see room for two Spanish language CCMs in Houston with its huge Hispanic population. Wonder how much musical overlap there is between VU and Fuzión?

Well, 🌹, you can always embed that video inside one of your posts for all to enjoy.🤣🤣🤣

Yeah, Fuzión is probably unlikely on KFNC in the near term, but if Gow decides to fire sale the station I’m sure there will be a number of interested and surprising suitors with fresh ideas…I hope.

Hey, I notice that the KFZN call is available for any future Fuzión station.😆

I've never sampled KHVU, but I would imagine that many of the same artists and songs would be similarly featured. Our KVNE and your KSBJ share a lot of common musical ground.

I'd reckon there are a couple of folks 'round here who'd prefer for the tape to include seeing me choke on it in the process. 🤷

Now, don't you go and give up hope on VCY, partner. My redneck buck is still firmly wagered on it.

Or any future CPs granted to a group looking to build adjacent to a nuclear power plant.
