November 2025 PPM Ratings

WNIC leapfrogged to the top with its early November flip to Christmas. With an 8 share and a Cume exceeding 1M, it's well out in front and expected to remain there for the next two rating periods.

WXYT saw a nearly three point loss in broadcast share with WNICs seasonal ascendancy. Listeners looking for music other than Christmas seemed to go to WMXD, WOMC and WYCD, all of which saw share gains and round out the Top 5.

Of additional note, WWJ saw a gain and places at #8. Surprisingly, even with the return of 89X well known now, ALT 98.7 gained nearly a full point for its best showing in some time. WJR remains in the doldrums, ratings wise, with a 2 share and nowhere near the Top 10. The WXYT stream even lost about a point of share, but still was better than WJR broadcast.

This may be what happened, but even their early flip only included 6 days of this book (Thursday flip to Wednesday book ending)

Understood and agree. I think having about 20% of the period as Christmas, combined with a seasonal drift away from Sports Talk is what put them over the top this period. I predict they'll be in double digits for both the December and Holiday periods. They must just kill it with ad sales this time of year.

If I remember correctly, for the Holiday survey period a year ago, WNIC scored a 17 share. Massive numbers. I agree that a repeat this year is likely.
