KLOS HD2 Broadcasting Dead Air

For at least the last year, if not longer, I’ve noticed that KLOS HD2 has been broadcasting dead air. I’ve reached out to the station to inquire about it, both via their website and social media; but got no response. They used to carry a talk format branded as KLOS2, but the website for that no longer exists. I guess they never got around to either putting other programming on there or turning off the HD2 altogether.

The HD1 and HD3 subchannels are broadcasting as they should, simulcasting the analog KLOS signal and KIRN 670, respectively.

Wouldn't it be funny if they just left the "dead air" go on and it got better ratings than before?
 
That KLOS2 was just a 24/7 Heidi and Frank channel. They never expanded beyond that. The plan was to add additional 'hot talk' type of shows, but never happened.

KLOS HD1 is 59 kbps (labeled MPS)
KLOS HD2 is 14.7 kbps (labeled SPS1)
KLOS HD3 is 14.8 kbps (labeled SPS2)

KLOS uses the regular MP1 mode supporting 96 kbps maximum (compared to the newer MP11 which can carry 148 kbps).
