Which Boston area station had the shortest-lived format?

The current WMEX was a NBC Sports Radio affiliate for a grand total of about one year (2012 to around late 2013), and flipped to talk once that was over.

Does anyone know of any other short-lived formats on the Boston area radio dial?

101.7 The Harbor lasted five months from July to December 2012.

I was going to ask if the Harbor was meant to just be a filler format after iHeart took over the signal, but the picture below of the wrapped vehicle screams "No, we really meant to try to go with this!"

Heck, its the same FJ Cruiser being used as the Evolution promo vehicle. The guys at the body shop must have automatically guessed iHeart gave up on the format once they got the call to do the new wrap.

Don't forget Evolution 101.7
Forget what about it? The question was what was the shortest lived format in the market. Harbor lasted five months. Evolution lasted a year and a half.
Snapple 101.7 was also short-lived.

(And now I notice all of these have existed on one frequency... haha)
That wasn't a format or a brand name. It was a marketing campaign where Snapple bought the commercial time on WFNX for a few weeks in 2006.
