Actually, the Mark Allen on WQGR and WREO used to be on WZOO and even the old WPHR in the late 1980's.

That was Rick Allen, I believe.
There are probably about a zillion DJs named Mark Allen/Allan across the USA. Can even go back to the late 70s/80s with one using that name at WCUE in Akron.

With Ted Alexander's retirement, hiring Mark Allen for mornings is a smart move. He has an audience that well remembers him from WREO, WZOO etc.
That is correct! Rick spent ages at Q104/WDOK/WNCX before heading to Rubber City a while back. I think he also does shifts on WQMX.
Based on the lack of spots they'll need to make $$$ first.
