FCC deleting 103.3 Freeport allocation?

This article was paywalled, but I gather that the FCC is about to delete the 103.3 allocation in Freeport once used by KGLF and KJOJ-FM.

How is this related to the C2 allocation that is/was going to Wharton? I guess I could do a deep dive into FCC proceedings, but does anyone have more info?

Could this also be related to any plan to move KLTN to a Missouri City stick, thus mitigating any spacing issues for 102.9?

Thanks for that. Does this open the door for the C2 on 103.3 in Wharton? I was unsure if that was ever officially allocated. Likely would have been short-spaced to the C in Freeport. Perhaps it will have more wiggle room now.

The rumor was KLTN was denied by FCC to move to Missouri City. It was too far, im guessing by a mile to be on one of the two TU towers, not providing details.

Allocated two years ago:

This is probably a good time for me to recommend to those who want to keep track of such things that the Media Bureau issues a Daily Digest of actions, applications, and related news releases, with links to the official documents. It can be accessed via the FCC website, or you can sign up to get it via e-mail every day other than weekends and federal holidays:
