What Format Is 102.1 The Fox

Today I went outside to let my fiancee car run for a bit. I decided to tune around to see what stations were doing. I was listening to 102.1 The Fox out of Florence. Not sure if they are classic rock, classic hits or what. Some liners were saying they were The PeeDee's classic rock, and some liners were saying The PeeDee's classic hits. What are they actually. Once upon a time they were a solid classic rock station, but today they were all over the place. Kinda curious.

They are classic hits. I have also noticed that 102.1 The Fox in Florence, 96.9 WIWF in Charleston and 98.5 WOMG in Columbia all have the same playlist logs now. Not sure when it happened, but Cumulus has gone a premium choice route. 102.1 used to be more classic hits with a rock lean before this. They do still air Steve Gorman Rocks from 7p-12a through the week breaking up the playlist simulcast.

Sunny 103.1 in MYB is using that playlist too.

I knew something was different. They did a liners about classic rock into Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal. I knew The Wolf, and WOMG were using the same Playlist, but didn't realize 102.1 The Fox was doing the same.
