K-Beatles

I was hoping to write a nice post about K-Beatles (105.1 HD 3). Listened a little bit yesterday and it sounded good. Good pacing, no commercials, and not overloaded with Beatles solo material and not-ready-for-prime-time alternative song versions which bog down the Beatles channel on SiriusXM. Just the Beatles songs you know and love

But trying to tune back in today, I got a stream of classical music, but it is not the same stream as K-Mozart. Been going on all day. Maybe someone should tell them.

Every time you blink your eyes, 1260 changes formats.
What I do not remember is which KKGO HD subchannel carries the same programming as 1260.

As I have said many times, Saul can change formats on the AM as much as he wants.

Now K-Beatles is totally gone. The 105.1 HD3 subchannel is now carrying a second classical feed branded as Kmozart+. The K-Beatles app now streams the smooth jazz format from 105.1 HD4.

Okay, Im lost....

This reminds of that fast moving shell game where you have to guess where it is now.

My OP was from on air listening, don't know anything about the web streams. But the station is playing classical music while the Beatles song titles keep coming up in the display, so it looks like a technical glitch. But I know that when one of these stations starts glitchng, that is usually it for the format.

It really doesn't matter what format is programmed on KKGO HD-3 as the audio has always been mono with very poor quality making it hard to listen to. I have said this before on other threads but it bears repeating. BTW at one time in the past (for a very short time) there was a K-Mozart-2 app. Maybe that's whats happening on HD-3?

Well it looks like K-Beatles is gone. For me it was a very quick Hello, Goodbye. Now I just have to Let it Be.

When they had the all Sinatra stream it was the most perfect mix of his music, similar to how OP described Beatles playlist.

I wish I could get a list of what they were playing for that stream back then for my Apple Music playlist.
