Reese Rickards, Jr. son of WJJD Newscaster Reese Rickards has passed away. Obituary information is very sketchy. He went to Maine Township North High School in Des Plaines. The station memorials only show the Grand Rapids, MI stations that he worked for decades, WJFM and WOOD-FM are two. Did he work in the Chicago Market early in his career? Was he a WMTH Alumnus?

He is probably best known for his time co-hosting mornings at B93 WBCT in Grand Rapids.

He will be missed by many in West Michigan.
 
Are we sure this was the guy that used Dave Rickards on the air? No San Diego news source is confirming this that I can see plus it seems like he was in Grand Rapids for many of the years Dave Rickards would have been elsewhere?
