Interesting seeing iHeart Radio doing a PBS special considering the way they do things airing various specials on other commercial networks. Amongst the premiums they're offering is a 6-month iHeartRadio plus subscription which you'd get a keepsake lanyard. I wish iHeart would offer this to subs who wanted to collect these things like ticket stubs & such.

Here's another one the local PBS affiliates will have to lower the median age while putting emphasis on promoting the PBS app where all the local PBS affiliates are located. Yes some of this needs approval of CPB funding, donors and yes state budget approval for this to be implemented.

The experimentation comes as the national public TV audience grows increasingly older, leaving stations dependent on an aging support base. Data shared by PBS shows the median age of its prime-time audience is 72, an increase from 64 a decade ago. Station leaders in Syracuse, Nashville and Newark, N.J., say their creative leaps are bringing younger adults back into the fold.

Spatchcock Funk drew nearly double the 25- to 54-year-old viewers of WCNY’s other prime-time shows. At NJ PBS, the YouTuber-hosted Vegan Pop Eats special was the biggest local program debut the station has ever seen. Nashville’s Jaunts on YouTube Shorts found traction with 35- to 45-year-olds.

What's the average age of "Viewers like you"?
More than that, what year did they attend high school where creating paragraphs or indented lists seems to have been discarded as a necessity in writing more than a sentence or two.

I note with interest that these specials, particularly the musical ones, are aimed at viewers over 60 years of age. If PBS is going to continue to need to fundraise from its audience, it will have to try to find a way to attract younger audiences (say people 35-49 years of age) during their prime income-earning years.

My only question is...can the OP use fewer words, and less use of all caps, boldface, underlining and italics?

These posts read like long-winded, poorly-structured call-to-actions and not opinionated observations. In fact, the OP's posting history of made up of similar posts.

For me, it makes for a hard–and less-than-credible–read.

Sorry about that, I will try to improve these posts more efficient and organized in the future.

why don't they try modern e-begging like Gofundme, Kickstarter or Patreon or have they just conceded younger viewers to streaming? How many stations are still airing Lawrence Welk reruns?
