There will be a new gardening show on KLBJ-AM:

All Things Landscaping
Host: Michael Padilla
Day: Sunday
Time: 9 AM to 11 AM

Sheryl McLaughlin is moving her show, The Austin Gardener, from Sunday to Saturday.
 
So the gardening show that was in the 8-9 slot Saturday mornings, and filled in from 9-11 for one of Jeff Ferris' slots, is gone?
I think Gardening Naturally left some big shoes to fill.

If I understood Sheryl correctly, both days (Saturday and Sunday) will now be from 9 AM to 11 AM for the gardening shows. I'm not involved in this. I'm just a lowly listener so we will have to see what happens in the next couple of weeks after Michael Padilla learns the system and is ready to be on his own without Sheryl's help.
 
I have asked chat gpt and these numbers could well be accurate: Tom Spencer and John Dromgoole both stopped hosting their shows in 2019 due to illness and retirement, respectively. Tom had been on the air for 30 years, John for 38. Sheryl McLaughlin has now had a show on KLBJ for 40 years.

These are real broadcasting achievements, to which can be added these hosts' TV, community, and business activities.
I listened and learned from them for many hours.
