Not as much Irish music this year

It used to be that on St. Patty's day, radio stations would play at least one Irish song. They would often play "The Unicorn" by the Irish Rovers. That doesn't seem to be happening this year. WJIB played that song twice yesterday, along with a few other Irish songs, but they don't seem to be playing it today. Maybe Easy 99.1 played it.

But if you want Irish music, tune to MyFM 101.3. In the past, they have played all Irish music on St. Patty's day. They're playing Irish music today, but I've heard non-Irish songs thrown in as well.
 
I remember when WPLM in Plymouth would play classic Irish tunes during the 19 hours of airtime on St. Patrick's Day for many years. This year, I relied on Live365's "Seasons and Celebrations" channel run by Tom Callahan, former d.j. on WUMB in Boston. It had wall-to-wall Irish music throughout that day.

Personally, I liked their later charted song "Wasn't That A Party".
