With YouTube TV's new plans

Has anyone switched to any of the cheaper plans? Did you lose or gain anything? I was thinking about the sports plan for $54.99 a month.
I literally just dumped Directv for the YTTV sports plan a few days back. I love it! Even if you need a break from sports every now and then, they do offer USA, the Turner nets and locals

I'm unaware of the Sports Plan offering anything that cannot already be found on the Base Plan.

I'm an existing Base Plan subscriber of YTTV. I went into my account management settings several weeks ago, got an immediate offer for $20 off a month for four months for my existing plan (lowering the price from $82.99 to $62.99 monthly) and accepted it.

This is the third reduced price offer in two years I've been able to use. :)

I tried Fubo on a trial period last summer and disliked it (channel load time was slow on certain TVs, there was very limited channel guide customization ability, and I also had periodic picture quality issues).

A couple years ago, I tried Hulu + Live TV and disliked the interface. Channel load time was laggy but at least I did not have any picture quality issues.

Sling lacks locals, so that's a deal breaker for me. Local channels when using an antenna pixelate too often on windy days.

If I were to go anywhere else, it'd be DirecTV stream, but they seem to play the same hidden fee game with some of their plans that cable plays. Their non-promo pricing is also expensive!

Does the sports plan allow for sports events that are televised on channels that usually don't show sports -- Bravo, for example, during the Olympics? How about the soccer matches on Univision and Telemundo -- the Univision and Telemundo channels that are part of the basic packages, not the ones in the Spanish package?

That's not how these plans work. Again - and this has come up before when people have asked about blacking out specific events - these are all-or-nothing deals. They either include a channel or they don't.

The providers don't get any rights to edit or modify any of the programming on the channels they carry, beyond being able to insert advertising on some cable channels.
