Salem/WNTP Morning Host to Run for Congress

Chris Stigall, AM host at WNTP (and across Salem's group of Conservative Talkers) has decided to run for Congress in Missouri's 6th Congressional District. He must have moved back to Missouri for the run as an earlier article from Lance stated that Chris was going to continue to be based at WNTP when he took over mornings on all Salem stations. (Link: Salem To Take Chris Stigall National In Mornings; Hugh Hewitt To Afternoons)

Anyway, details are below:

I think he'll be back at Salem come next January, if not sooner.
Maybe even after August, when the primaries are held in Missouri. The 6th district has been a safe Republican district for decades, so whoever wins the Republican primary will likely win the general, even with a distressed farm economy hit hard by tariffs. (I'm familiar with that region from having relatives there and from spending part of my childhood just across the border in Iowa.) Stigall isn't the only hard-core Trumper who will be running: Missouri U.S. Rep. Sam Graves to retire, igniting race for open GOP seat • Missouri Independent

While Stigall may be known in the Kansas City area from his time at KCMO radio, that's only part of the district.
