92.9, which has always been a very open frequency here in Maple Grove on my Stellar Labs 4-element antenna (pointed west directly towards Willmar), lately has been occupied by a fairly strong, and consistent signal (approx. -80dBm) from W225AP licensed to St. Paul (and coming from the IDS), which carries Christian Hip-Hop “Boost” from KMWA-HD3. Anyone know if they’ve increased power or are possibly running non-directional now unauthorized? I should also note that a fellow DXer in Coon Rapids has noted a stronger signal than normal from them as well.

Boost 92.9 signal boost?

The translator is owned by K-Love. There is no way they are intentionally running a different, unauthorized pattern or more power. The reason the translator has a nul is co-channel KKJM in Saint Cloud. Could it be that they are running less than authorized power which is allowing Boost to slip through?
Doubtful as 92.9 is an open frequency here. It takes conditions to bring KKJM in.
As of today, the frequency is completely blank again with almost no sign of Boost like it was before maybe Thursday, or Friday. I’ve been monitoring 92.9 for about 10 minutes now.
