Vermont AM 1490 Brattleboro goes away

AM 1490, the original WKVT in Brattleboro, submitted to the FCC to have its license cancelled. It was under the call sign of WINQ, and had been off the air for almost a year. With so many stations in Saga's Keene/Brattleboro cluster, would anyone notice ? ;)

Maybe if it were doing classic country or standards rather than simulcasting the contemporary country programming of WINQ-FM 98.7.

I'm a little surprised they weren't. Saga seems to have the flanker format game down by flooding the market with stations for every demographic like in Manchester or Portland, but those are much bigger metros than Bratt/Keene.
