Antenna shifting frequency?

I connected a Tecsun AN-48X antenna to my Tecsun PL-330 and had a weird frequency shift. I was trying to tune in to 660 AM (WFAN), which I can sometimes receive at night. However, I was receiving 570 AM (WKBN, a strong local station) on the 660 AM frequency. I checked other clear channels and found they were coming in on the correct frequencies.

What would cause 570 to "shift" to 660?

How close are you to the WKBN transmitter site? This may be a case of overloading.

Poor front end design in the receiver -- poor front end selectivity.

Does the AN-48X have a preamp? Is it tuneable? That could cause the problem. RF selectivity is important.
