What cloud based system works best.

What cloud based system have you used to replace an on air studio? Is it easy for voice tracking? What software (billing - commercial scheduling, and music programming) does it work well with? Obviously low cost is a plus but it should have some support. I have been looking at a couple of "internet radio" deals but I would like to have a "solid tunneling protocol" link to the transmitter.
 
I'm planning on building my own cloud radio system using mAirList and VPN based SMB synchronization. Very complex system to create. I will need external programming generation too. audio sync between multiple machines. Radio Cloud made the lamp turn on above my head. Very cool automation.
 
I'd urge anyone looking for a cloud-based system to check out Myriad (www.myriad.radio). I like that it has a free demo, and that there also appears to be a fully functional 20 day trial download for running locally. None of the other pro-level systems I've researched seem to offer any of this.

We really want people to play with it and see how it works for them.

And while it's certainly not free, it's substantially less expensive than the top-tier systems (Zetta, Wide Orbit, etc) we compete against. We also offer the option to buy out the software with a perpetual license, which they don't.

It's possible to control a local machine (like on a remote studio) through the web interface?

Yes! The web interface (Myriad Anywhere) can provide full control of a Myriad playout/scheduling system running on a local machine, or one that's running in the cloud. Or both!

You sure can! Everything we do is integrated - change something in schedule and it reflects immediately in playout and vice versa, record a voicetrack on the browser-based Myriad Anywhere and it is right there on your local machine, and so on.

Talk to scott about Myriad.... hes a broadcaster working for other broadcasters who manage the company./. so when you describe a unique set of problems or situations, the guys will "get it"
