Big Jim out at WCSX

I could see Angi Taylor, formerly of Rock 95.5 in Chicago, joining WCSX. The former market manager for iHM Chicago is now market manager for Beasley Detroit.

Julia, who departed Alt 98.7 WDZH last winter, may be another possibility.

Other options involve rotating an existing Beasley on-air jock into mornings or perhaps re-hiring Trudi Daniels, who previously was heard in mornings on WCSX.

Beasley is making these cuts out of financial desperation. Unlike other operators who have made cuts to then hire someone else at a lower salary, when Beasley cuts they eliminate the position. For an idea of what will likely happen at WCSX look at Bealsey's 102.9 WMGK Philadelphia.

WMGK's current lineup is former part-timer Paul Kelly in mornings after Matt Cord replaced the late Pierre Robert on WMMR, WBEN-FM morning host Kristen Hermann also hosting middays on WMGK, longtime personality Tony Harris in afternoons, and they still have yet to remove Jim O'Brien from their site tracking nights. Outside of Harris, who tracked nights as part of his Production and Operations duties, none of them were on the full-time lineup even three years ago.

I appreciate the info. We'll see what happens.

It's no secret Beasley's Detroit cluster has fallen on tough times in the revenue department. Their 2025 was a disaster. Worst year to year decline of any cluster in the company percentage wise.

Screaming Scott moves from PM Drive to AM Drive.

Jeff Zito appears to be moving to PM drive from early evenings. Source: my own ears. I'm listening to WCSX right now. :)

We'll see if 94.7 moves up the start time of Alice Cooper's syndicated show. I believe they've been starting it nightly at 10PM.

I haven't heard Alice Cooper's Syndication show in years good to see it's still out on the air somewhere

Despite WOMC poaching many of WCSX's listeners, they did gain share last month. The upheaval in the morning slot may undo some of this. Randall does have his fans, but not sure he'll be as well received in mornings.

You'd think they'd at least update the website with the new lineup.
