Central Jersey Dennis Malloy returns to WKXW, Eric Johnson rises to OM

An interesting story. Someone decides to un-retire. But it turns out he just needed a multi-month break? He had been doing fill ins here and there after his retirement last year.

BTW, if you add the cume ratings for NJ 101.5 in both NYC and Philadelphia, WKXW is either the #1 or #2 talk station in the country, alongside KFI Los Angeles. As David pointed out before when discussing NJ 101.5, two of its largest counties, Mercer and Hunterdon, are neither in the NYC or Philadelphia metros. WABC would be #3.

He didn't decide to un-retire. The station asked him to come back, likely because it had nobody else willing to fill the timeslot.
