When I read about the sale of WNEZ 105.3/1230 on RadioInsight it answered my question about the station's status. I know they had sold 910/101.7, the 97.5 Translator, for 1480, and had taken 1480 off the air. I do have 2 questions.
1. If someone were to buy 1480, would they be able to aquire and relocate a translator for it?
2. Is Gois planning on selling their Massachusetts stations and translators in Dedham, Lawrence, and Worcester?

They no longer have use of the WKND tower site. The STA filing states its silent as theyve lost the site. WKND is toast.
Theres zero chance you can get 250W ND out of them... and building more than one tower for them isnt fesible, and even then if you could, it would result in crappy coverage.
you get peanut whistle power at night.
stick a fork in WKND, its done
WKND's signal was marginal anywhere it mattered its entire existence... itd be even more marginal with any rebirth
1480 WKND Windsor has also been sold.

no tower site, the previous owners lost use of it transmitter site. but they dont state if it was sold or they just l;ost the lease and a new owner can renegotiate. but maybe they can find a place for a single tower and buy a translator... thats the only way i see this being worth it1480 WKND Windsor has also been sold.
