Looks like iHeart’s sweeping cuts today took our morning show away. David & Meredith are now up on the website. Is there even a need for a studio with microphones at this point? We have the same morning show as Omaha’s KGOR, sad.

Stick a fork in a once very good radio station. I know the economics are the driving force in broadcast radio’s demise, because but it’s still sad to see an institution slowly fade away
94 HJY is next. RAMP is reporting that Paul and Al have been informed they are toast in September. I HEART takes down another medium market legacy station.
WWBB and WSNE are now running iHeart's national music logs/lineup. David & Meredith are based at WSRZ Sarasota FL.
WSNE still has a local morning show (Doug & Jenn). They syndicate to 106 WCOD/Cape Cod. They also track afternoons at WHJY and simulcast it on WHEB/Portsmouth, NH.
That doesn't impact how the national logs/lineups work... Stations can still pipe in certain dayparts locally.
If, in fact, Paul & Al are being let go in September, iHeart better have the decency to let them have one final goodbye show.
Why even have PD's at this point?
When I Heart finishes with the cuts to their Providence cluster, they'll be able to run their whole operation out of a closet.
B101's website is still showing Adam Rivers in afternoons. He works out of the Hartford cluster. Jeffrey T. Mason, however, wrote on his Facebook page that he will be returning to B101 afternoons as a voicetracker. Anyone know which is accurate? Either way, B101 now has zero local hosts.
