True, and people who object to the message can always refuse to buy the product. That said, it is probably best to see the commercial as a joke, which is surely the way it was intended, but just speaking for myself, I would dislike a commercial that snickers at antisocial behavior, which failure to meet one's work obligations certainly is. During the Covid crisis, I did a slow burn at the various fast-food places and other businesses that had impaired service on account of people not showing up who weren't even sick. Back in my growing-up, you never heard of such a thing. You don't show up for work, and you have no legitimate excuse, you get fired. How times have changed.
