Keith Kennedy to WMJI mornings

I've tried listening to Nolan in the afternoon a few times now, but all I hear are blocks of music followed by blocks of commercials. Is he really there?

I sampled "Kennedy and Picciano" this morning and they haven't quite gelled yet. Jen even made a comment at the end of the break I heard saying something along the lines of "we'll find our rhythm soon." And I say this as someone that enjoyed Keith & Tony (and especially the old Keith, Tony & Meg) on KDD.

Keith's been on WKDD for a long time, with almost every cohost that's been in the mornings (Krissy at first, from the old Matt Patrick morning show, and then any combination of Tony and Meg), so I could understand needing to find a new groove when coming into an established (I guess) morning show, since it's something he had to do back in 2009 when he took over the morning show there.

As for Mark Nolan, I'd check back in sometime this week to see if he shows up. He could have had last week off as a planned vacation with the holiday, but who knows? Maybe he's voice-tracking twenty other shows and just pops up once an hour or something.

Also, does moving Keith over to WMJI now make all of the iHeart Akron stations all syndicated/voice-tracked?

I was going to ask which guaranteed humans are left in the Cleveland market, and I thought it was just whoever's left on 105.7, but Rover's Morning Glory is based here in town, so they technically count. That said... besides RMG, Keith Kennedy, Mark Nolan, and Jen Picciano, who's left?

Correct. Akron/Canton, Youngstown and Erie, PA no longer have any local on air talent. I'm not sure about the other small markets in Ohio.

Dayton still has at least a local morning show on WMMX. . And somehow the morning guy at Majic 95.9 in Marion, OH survived the cuts.

Yeah, he tracked middays on Mix 989 in Youngstown until it started taking one of the national AC options.

Even though you can't hear him in the Mahoning Valley anymore, those of us in the 216 and 330 will be able to get 13 hours of Keith every weekday starting Monday. Cleveland doesn't know how lucky it is.
Are there any other RVPs that double as air talent, let alone track on three different stations in the same market? /genuine
