Atlantic City/Cape May WNBR 100.7 Automation Era Question

Does anyone have information on WNBR (100.7 FM Wildwood) during its automated AC format era in the early/mid-1980s? I’m looking for automation details Air Checks or any station history before it switched to WZXL
 
A guy called Terry Nelson seemed to do a lot of the DJing. They played some songs that didn't chart real high, like Que Te Quiero by Katrina and the Waves and The Night Is Still Young by Billy Joel. They ran Mutual news delayed to about :40...if I had known it was going to come up, I would have taken notes...

Thanks! This is very helpful. Terry Nelson is the first announcer I’ve been able to identify by name. I remember him in the evening. Do you happen to remember whether he was local or syndicated? I remember driving through Florida and heard him on another station. Also, do you remember anything about the automation system or whether the station identified a programming
 
While I can't share it directly, I can report that a 1983 Press of AC story identified WNBR's programming source as a California-based service called "Concept." I don't have any further details, but I seem to recall that the station used "Radio One" in its IDs--don't know if they came up with that locally or if it was from the service.

Thank you! Your identification of Terry Nelson turned out to be the breakthrough I needed. I took that lead and began researching Terry and found Concept Productions, and the C-1 Premier Adult Contemporary format. The more evidence I found—including trade publications, Terry’s airchecks, and other independent information—the more it all fit together.

I’m still hoping an actual WNBR aircheck surfaces someday, but thanks to your lead and everyone else’s contributions, I’ve learned far more than I ever expected. I really appreciate your help.
