‘RuPaul’ Test To Debut On Fox Stations

RuPaul will be 60 next year. The first appearance of Drag Race was a decade ago, and some of the first successful tunes are in the vicinity of 25 years old. I'm not sure where there's an assumption that show would somehow be targeting a different audience than Wendy...Kelly...Ellen...et al.

I think you underestimate that the gay/transgender audience is growing, and ru pauls shows generally have gotten good ratings all the way back to when he was on the radio in New York. He is a relatable person in my opinion, maby not to your demographic up in michigan but to most markets he is relatable.

Just a very tough sell the TV stations groups didn't sign on for the show when it was pitched for 2019-20 season test runs are 50/50 if they go National or not. Judge Judy IWhitness didn't get picked up for 2018-19 syndie season that was tested in summer of 2017 on the Fox O&O's many more as well.
