They have almost no signal in Plano - very weak down in Dallas. I can get KOVE out of Galveston much stronger, more dependably in the car than 106.9. Frankly, I wish 106.9 would just go dark so I could get "The Point" out of Houston at home.

The Ranch is a chaotic place to be. Like most stations I'm sure they have good intentions with their music, over the top promotions, and all that other stuff but their bang to hype ratio is extremely out of whack.

KFWR doesn't really have a listenable signal anywhere east of 360.

And the Ranch doesn't have much of a signal east of I-35 in the LBJ area.

It is not a rimshot -- it's an airball.

The Ranch is owned by a bunch of lawyer for goodness sakes.

The music ... don't get me started there ... or the management.

Look at The RANGE down the dial ... the Americana wonder ... not a broadbased country format -- a niche.

And a tiny one at that.

Oh, sorry.

I thought you were talking about the Wolf at first.
