"# 1 Single" on E!

I have to say that after watching this reality-based show for the past two weeks, E! has come up with a winner, and quality hit at that. One has to wonder why we don't see shows like these anymore.

And BTW Lisa Loeb is a hottie, even for a single girl with glasses!

Well, after trotting out dreck like "The Anna Nicole Show" and "Taradise", E! really has nowhere else to go but up :)

I do agree though; having watched the first two episodes of "#1 Single", it's definitely a quality show. It helps immensely that Loeb seems to be a relatively normal and grounded person, unlike the over-the-top trainwrecks that usually sprout up on reality programs.

And yes, she is definitely a hottie. Makes you think twice about the old adage "boys don't make passes at girls who wear glasses"...

She was lookin' good in the early 90's when she was pumping out periodic hit records. Something about those glasses. ;) I always thought her music was good and it was a shame she didn't have more hit records than the couple she did.

I was all set to correct you, saying she was married to Dweezil Zappa, but I wanted to confirm that first...

So THANK YOU since I have now found out they're no longer together!!! They were never married, but dated for 6 years before breaking up in 2004. So there's hope for me yet! (Now if I only wasn't already married.....)

By the by, does anyone else find it real cool that Lisa was the voice of Mary Jane Watson in the one season of the animated Spider Man show in 2003? Of course, when you realize Neil Patrick Harris was Spider man's voice, that thrill is kind of gone....

I actually had the pleasure of hearing Lisa sing long before she became famous. She is a class act
