Does the FCC care about this interference? Obviously NOT!

I've been wondering why WHAS shut theirs off. When it left WHAS and showed up on 790, I assumed that they just moved it from one station to another. Thanks for that tidbit. Watt Hairston posted a comment on here some months back that when the warranty ran out on the IBOC equipment, the AM band would start to clear back up. Hard to get the GM to drop 5-10 grand to repair something that was producing zero revenue. 690 and 710 are still clear here on Saturday morning.microbob said:I hope it is permanent. WHAS in Louisville tried unsuccessfully several times to fix its IBOC equipment but it failed after about the 3rd time they gave up trying to fix it.
