10 kHz AM Frequency of the Week - 1370 kHz

What can you all get on 1370 AM?

Here in Vermilion, OH during the day it's WSPD/Toledo, OH with some slop from WDLW 1380/Lorain. At night it becomes a jumble with WSPD on top.

Bellevue, WA

Days bring nothing but fair IBOC hash from 1380 KRKO.
Nights, I usually get a mix of KAST Astoria and KXTL Butte, MT. I've tentatively heard KWNC Quincy with SS, and heard the former CFOK Westlock, AB a few times before their September 2011 move to FM.

Warminster PA(Philly 'burbs):

Daytime: WPAZ Pottstown PA(standards station, fairly strong signal)
Night: mess of stations, including WFEA from Manchester NH.

Big grin on my face for this one... ;D

WXXI, Rochester... 5 kW about two miles south of me, and also the station where I've been hanging my radio hat for the last eight years and change.

When we're off the air at WXXI, it's a mix of WKMC Roaring Spring PA (even when it's not supposed to be there, sometimes!), WSPD Toledo and occasionally WFEA.

Crystal Lake, IL - 40 miles northwest of Chicago city limits

Daytime:
WLTH Gary, IN

Sunrise/Sunset:
WCCN Neillsvile, WI
WLLM Lincoln, IL (WPRC)

Nighttime:
KDTH Dubuque, IA
WDOD Chattanooga, TN (no longer on air)
WGCL Bloomington, IN (WTTS)
WLJW Cadillac, MI (WWAM)
WSPD Toledo, OH (back in the day, with less stations on the channel, this was "armchair copy", like WAKR, now it's mostly slop
with WSPD usually struggling to get on top of the mess...)

In Gary, IN, I get WLTH in most of the area during the day, but at night, coverage varies. They have no problem getting out during the day on their single daytime tower at 1kw, but it's that directional at 500 watts from their nighttime site. So it's not heard in all of Gary at night, & barely get them at work in Merrillville, IN at night (lost them when I used to work in Lowell, IN at night).

Northern VA,

I have gotten semilocal WVIE from Baltimore until the station dropped news in favor of classic hits as WQLL. But the station seemed to be off the air lately or running on very low power. So I'm getting almost nothing on days.
Nights, it's a mess with Toledo's WSPD often on top.

From NE NC car radio. Mid days 1370 WQLL Pikesville, MD Q1370 Baltimore heard regularly when the noise level is low.
Sunrise WXXI Rochester, NY and WGIV Pineville, NC (Charlotte).

From Pittsburgh,

Daytime - nada, as local 1360 WMNY walks all over it

Night - generally I could get WSPD Toledo. That was because WMNY
has to broadcast from a night facility many miles to the south, and I could
never receive that signal at my house. Lately though they have been broadcasting
at 250 watts from the center of town with an STA, since that other site is
having some issues. So no 1370 audible at the moment.

In Central VA, its pretty much an unlistenable mess of hash and IBOC. On a few very rare occasions, I can pick something out, but never long enough to ID. That is nights. Daytime, nothing.

SW Ohio

Days
WCGL Bloomington IN

Skip Time
WVIE Pikesville MD - Morning drive time in October
WSPD Toledo OH - Morning drive time in January

I'm embarrassed that I have logged so few stations on this target rich frequency. :-[

Funny, but after posting and then listening to 1370 this evening, I heard quite clearly a country station. Playing mid-90's Alan Jackson around 9:30 PM EST. No I.D. though. Maybe WDXE in TN? Seems the likely culprit as there has been a lot of Southern stations coming in the last few nights.
