Does anyone have any experience with 10 second sales messages. Any tips on writing would be appreciated. Yeah, I know how difficult could it be; it's only 10 seconds.

As with any sales message, you have to sell the benefit to the consumer...what's in it for me? Just make sure you have a strong promise, Kind of like the Head-On spots.

Generally :10 second ads augment a schedule of 60s or 30s. What's the message of the current campaign? If it's something simple, like "KFC has 10 wings and thighs for 5-bucks" Your :10 would be something like "Visit KFC today and get 10 wings and thighs for just 5-bucks. For a limited time at participating KFC stores."

If you're dealing with a car dealer with a complicated lease deal with dollar figures and lease terms and all that, generalize: "Looking for a new Suburban? Check out the great lease deals on new Suburbans at Joe Blow Chevrolet. Log onto Joe Blow Chevrolet dot com for complete details."

Referring to a website, where the listener can get all of the information they need is a way to keep your :10s (or any length spot for that matter) simple and un-cluttered. Hope this helps.
