10 Years of 96Rock

96Rock will be on the air 10 years next month. Did anyone think that they would be around for 10 years. Do you think they will be on 10 years from now? Discuss
 
10 more years of stale bread-rock with jocks that are boring and self-indulging? eeehhh i hope not. Now put a little more attitude and wit into the station overall, purge the suck out of the library, fire the morning show and get more guys like Blade...then here's to 10 more!
 
Blade is a great addition and he will hopefully put some kick assidness in to that station. Remember when they first came on they were pretty heavy. Im sorry to say this but i kinda wish the hurricanes didnt win the cup, then they would still be the old 96Rock. And i am not sure that assidness is a word
 
I liked it more before the "everything that rocks" era.
 
Thats what im talking about. Maybe just maybe they will go back to new rock. But ever since they went to ETR their ratings have been up.
 
I like 96 Rock. It's nice for a change to have a station with live DJ's and maintaining a "local" community feel, unlike the CC corporation who believes everything should begin and end with voicetracking from another state. ::)

Bob the Blade was a kick- hire for 96 Rock, although I'm a Tar Heel fan, you have to put up with his wolfpack glasses. It is worth it though. The 2 DJ feel will be unique, but nobody knows triangle radio like BTB, good for him to be back on triangle radio. I know he'll be happier spinning tunes from Van Halen and Aerosmith unlike spinning Toby Keith and Rascall Flatts for the chicken/rooster/hen 106.1.

What do you not like about the morning show? They're just about the only thing on that station worth listening to.
