100.1 is on the air in Savannah

As of 9:30 tonight 100.1 was on the air with a pretty respectable signal. In downtown, the signal strength was very similar to 106.1.

This is certainly a much better signal for smooth jazz than 92.3. Part of me wonders if 92.3 won't go FM black gospel as "Joy". I'd still love to see a true alt. rocker, but the format is where the sales lie...

This will get interesting.

How about putting sports or news/talk on 92.3? Either format would be great, but, it's just like you said, Radio-X, the station management has to go with the format that will pay the bills.
