100.3 KROCK (FWB)

This is in regards to 100.3 not having any local jocks. (WRKN)

I heard a guy on their who gave the time, WX and live traffic reports during afternoon drive.
I forgot his name but he was local.
Later on, went back to the satellite (I assume Starguide III)

He didn't sound like it was voicetracked.

Again, I don't know the jocks name. (I don't keep up with the latest..as you can all tell)

When Krock was on the 92.1 freq prior to when we took over at Qantum and flipped it to Fly...they had the Westwood one 24/7 format on and I would assume they are doing the same thing with maybe a local show like they did 3 yrs ago. What you prob hearing is the jock on the network.....

A few weeks after WRKN signed on at 100.3 some dude posted on this board claiming to be a part time afternoon jock on the otherwise satellite fed station. It might have been posted in one of the many "What's the future of 98.1?" threads.

Think it was T.J. Kelley. Here's the link to the website. I dunno if he's still live and local anymore. He defended
Ron Hale and the station a while back. Wonder if he's still lurking around here or CROCK???

It's true........ There was a local LIVE jock today... named Danny James. Also known as The Alpha Dog!

He was very professional, began with T and really enjoyed the programme on the way home from Destin. Went by the star building and sometimes I wonder, does it ever get vandalized? That's not exactly a nice neighbourhood in metro FWB!

Though, I do like to drool at the big dish on top of the building. Possibly aimed at AMC 7 (forgot what bird Starguide uses)

he is live (sometimes) but a pretty good jock ..for both hours he is live every day
