100.5 HD-2 in Vegas.

Can anyone tell me what "Danc'n Jack" on 100.5 HD-2 in Vegas is like?? Of all the CBS HD-2s, this one doesn't stream. Would like to know how much 70s dance vs. 80s dance is on there (and if there's any current dance).

Am assuming there is actually someone on here that owns an HD radio.

thx.

It seems HD radio owners fall into 2 groups:

1) Radio executives
2) Radio geeks who still think there's hope for terrestrial radio

I fall into neither group, for the record...

I have heard people say that DANC"N JACK is their favorite HD-2 station in Las Vegas.I only heard them once. They were playing "She Drives me Crazy" by FYC which is a very burned out song for my tastes, I instantly punched out.

The reason HD-2 hasn't taken off and never will IMO is that it is just a music source with minimal entertainment value.

If HD is integrated into another system (for example, a car or home system which includes AM/FM, mp3, CD and HD) it could work. Until then, there just doesn't seem to be any reason to go out and buy an HD radio, with so many other options for listening to music already out there. Wish I had the money to build a prototype of one of these systems . . . 8)
