They have new voice-over people with new liners that sound almost like FM99, mixed in with the current imaging. They sound alot better. Will it help them in the ratings?

BTW, Did they get there new PD yet?<P ID="signature">______________

I heard that they hired a new afternoon guy and that he would be doing some imaging... I'll have to take a listen...

I think Max FM could do well as a pure active rocker. There are probably demographics that are driving the format as it is now, but if they could afford to go slightly younger then purly active rock would get them some ratings. FM 99 already does so well as a variety rock station it would be hard to compete, not to mention the herritage. If they dropped all the older rock and played pure rock from the 90's to current I think they could bring themselves up to a 3-4 share. Of course they would need to image it correctly and maybe grab Adam Corolla to provide an alternative to to FM99 and 96X in the mornings.

I'm suprised...but I wouldn't be suprised if there is room for all three in town for a while.

It would rock to hear the Adam-man on the east coast as well...
