100.7 in SA

So long as KASE doesn’t get listener complaints that it chooses to pursue, the two 100.7’s can co-exist with it. I believe the FCC requires a certain number of listeners to complain to the station before taking action now, but I'm not sure exactly what that number is. Translators can be licensed in areas where regular stations can’t. The theory is that they can be forced off or forced to move if they actually cause interference. Seems like the 95.5 translator is more likely to get interference complaints from KLEY-FM than either of the 100.7’s would from KASE.

Still the 2 translators would really clash with each other in SA, I would think.

From looking at the application for the translator at 92.1’s move to 100.7, it was contingent upon 100.7’s move to 107.9. Since that move apparently isn’t happening, the two will either have to work it out so they don’t interfere, or KCHL’s translator will have to remain at 92.1.

I’m not sure if the two can agree to accept interference or not.
