100.7 is now Movin'

SIMMONS MEDIA has launched Rhythmic AC KYMV (MOViN 100.7)/SALT LAKE CITY on the frequency formerly occupied by Country KEGH (THE EAGLE 100.7). THE EAGLE survives at simulcasted sister frequency KEGA (EAGLE 101.5). SIMMONS VP/Operations ALAN HAGUE will program the station while conducting a search for a permanent PD.

Wow! Two stations virtually in one day. St. Louis also got a "Movin'" station.

Salt Lake's Movin sounds a little more like L.A.'s new Movin - more urban AC than Seattle and St. Louis' Movin - they are a little more dancy/ dance hits of 80,90,now.

Movin stations:
Seattle
LA
St. Louis
Salt Lake City

Now that you've had a chance to listen to Movin, what do you think?

Which stations will be effected most?

Is it a short-term solution, or does the format have legs?
