100.7 The Wolf?

Long time lurker, first time post.

This morning I was watching KING-5 and an ad came up for "100.7 The Wolf" -- a country music station. Was I hallucinating due to lack of early morning coffee or is there a format change coming? I looked it up on Google, no such station anywhere.

If this is true, WTF is going on?
 
This has been rumored to be true for a long time - and it's finally here...

Which I guess confirms the KISW Morning BJ thing... I dont' even need to hear the press conference - I'm 99% sure now!

I saw it too. Makes sense. Today's the day of the announcement that BJ is moving to KISW. What happens to Leykis and The Men's Room?<P ID="signature">______________

I've been a fan of the Buzz for a long time -- I thought it had strong ratings. This is a complete shock to me. I guess my car radio going bust must have been a premonition. I'm stunned.
 
I'm with you - I work in radio locally here, but when I get done with my show, I get in the car and BJ's the first thing I turn to...

And what about Leykis, Seattle's his highest rated market, and he's been on the air here for, what, 11 years?

This has been a rumor for so long I didn't give it any thought - I'm pretty shocked... And what is the wolf? Edgy country?

Have you listened yet? I haven't had a chance to (on the air now) and I'm dying to hear how it sounds...
 
DID ANYONE HEAR THE FLIP?

I heard it was at 7am on the nose... did Robin and Maynard still do the first two hours? How did the actual flip sound?

I woke up this morning to Robin & Maynard's show -- I didn't hear any country music. Which is why the TV ad threw me.

Oh, so wait, they haven't flipped? Will the flip coincide with the 11am press conference? I had heard from a co-worker they flipped at 7am...

No flip yet...commercial says Comming Soon. I tuned into R&M this am for the first time in YEARS. Heard Maynard mention "I can't talk about this, but turn to channel 5 and see what they are advertising." I would imagine it won't be till January. <P ID="signature">______________

I'm putting my bets on 11am today, to coincide with the KISW press conference.

I'll certainly be listening - but then again I listen to the buzz everyday after work driving home at 11...

YOU work at KMPS with Ichabod Caine in the morning BAM and the first thing you do is switch to the BUZZ when you get done with your show. You're a real team player aren't you?

Press conference is at 11:00am on KISW. Yet, the countdown on the Buzz is set to end at noon.?

I missed the Buzz signoff prior to the T-MINUS countdown starting. SOMEONE PLEASE tell me it was not R&M on the last wave exiting the tower...

If R&M were in fact the last sound to be heard on the BUZZ, to quote TL, "How pathetic is that!?" [not to mention ironic in so many ways]
